1. CUSTOMERS

Some fiber providers consider us the data controller when we process customers’ personal data. Here you can read how we process your personal data in this context.

Purpose of processing personal data

  • Personal data is primarily used to communicate with you in connection with the preparation of a service agreement.

  • Personal data is used to ensure correct information about your property and the surrounding conditions in the service agreement.

  • Personal data is used for general support in connection with the delivery of our services and to support our relationship with you.

  • Personal data is used to document conversations for the later preparation of service agreements.

Categories of personal data
We process the following categories of personal data about you:

General personal data:

  • Name, address, email, phone number, order number

  • Information about your property, including location and terrain

  • Images of your property and surrounding land

  • Audio recordings of phone calls

Other information:

  • In certain cases, we may process additional personal data that you voluntarily provide. We emphasize that we do not actively request this information and only process it to the extent you choose to share it with us.

  • Our interest in preparing a service agreement for the fiber provider’s subsequent installation at your property.

  • Our interest in documenting the information and agreements made with the customer for the preparation of the service agreement.

  • Our interest in ensuring we can provide good service to you.

Recipients
We may share your personal data with:

  • Our IT providers and the fiber provider with whom you have also entered into an agreement.

Storage
We will store personal data as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned.

  • We store information about you as long as you are an active customer, after which your data is deleted.

Exceptions:

  • Information included in accounting records (invoices, etc.) is stored at a minimum in accordance with accounting law, i.e., five years from the end of the financial year to which the record relates, even if your customer relationship ends before then.

  • Audio recordings of phone calls with you are stored for up to 6 months, after which they are deleted.

Purpose of processing personal data
When you fill out our contact form, we process your personal data to contact you and provide good customer service.

  • Our interest in ensuring good cooperation and fulfillment of any agreement regarding collaboration, delivery of a service, or goods.

  • Ensuring that we can provide good service to you, including improving our service based on your feedback.

  • Our interest in communicating effectively with you.

Storage
We will store personal data as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned.

  • We store information about you as long as you are an active customer. Data is deleted one year after you are no longer an active customer.

  • We store information about our suppliers as long as we have an active supplier relationship. Data is deleted one year after the relationship ends.

Exceptions:

  • Information included in accounting records (invoices, etc.) is stored at a minimum in accordance with accounting law (five years from the end of the relevant financial year).


4. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE OF AND AROUND OUR OFFICE

Purpose of processing personal data
We process personal data in connection with monitoring our office and surrounding area.

  • Monitoring is done for security reasons and to prevent crime.

  • Monitoring is also done for insurance purposes.

  • Name and job title (if applicable)

  • Image of you (profile picture from your social media profile)

  • Information you provide when commenting on our social media posts

  • Profile picture and the name you use on social media will be publicly available.

We will store personal data as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned.

  • We store data as long as the relevant post is active on social media and you have liked or commented on it.

Exceptions:

  • Since our posts can be shared by others, and we have no control over this sharing, we can only delete our own posts gradually.


YOUR RIGHTS

In connection with our processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • Right to have data deleted that is no longer relevant

  • Right to restrict processing of your personal data

TRANSFERS TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA

We use Microsoft 365 for customer management and when you contact us via our contact form, which may involve transferring personal data to countries outside the EU. You can see the list of Microsoft sub-processors on Microsoft’s website.

We may also exchange data with social media platforms, including when placing third-party cookies or otherwise sharing data. In such cases, personal data may also be transferred outside the EU depending on the platform.

In some cases, the country is approved by the European Commission as a “safe third country.” Otherwise, the transfer is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can request a copy of these clauses by contacting us using the contact details provided at the beginning of this policy.
